Day 1: Essaouira - Agadir - Taroudant - Taliouline - Tazenakht - Zagora

Day 2: Zagora - Tazzarine - Rissani - Merzouga
Today we go for Tazarine and Alnif, and we visit Rissani and its souk. Then we arrive at the magnificent Merzouga dunes (called Chebbi Erg). We then ride camels, explore the best of the Sahara dunes, watch the sunset, and spend the night at our nomad bivouac in the dunes. We listened to Berber music after dinner. Day 3: Merzouga desert
Today we take a trip around the Erg Chebbi dunes. We visit Khamlia (a village of black people who play Gnawa music) and a fossil site before visiting a local Nomad Family. The lake of Dayt Sarji will be visited, followed by an exploration of the settlement of Hassi Labied, complete with a Nomad museum. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga - Ouarzazate
Today we ride camels back to Merzouga for breakfast before traveling to Rissani, also Erfoud, and exploring the magnificent Todra valley, which is noted for rock climbing. Take advantage of our 5-day tour from Essaouira to the Sahara Desert. Then we drive along the Thousand Kasbahs route. We travel via Dades Valley and on to Skoura, where we explore palm groves. We spent the night in a nearby hotel with dinner after touring film studios in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa." Then we go to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, where more than 20 movies have been filmed, including Gladiator, Indiana Jones, and "Lawrence of Arabia." Then we go via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizin'tichka pass to get to our riad or hotel in Marrakech. Finish of a 5-day tour from Essaouira to the Sahara Desert.
